Does it need Wi-Fi or an app?
No. You program meal times and portions with the buttons on the front panel, and it runs completely offline, so feeding keeps going even if your internet drops out.
What happens if the power goes out?
Fit 4 x AA batteries (not included) as a backup and the feeder will keep running your schedule during a power cut. Day-to-day, it runs on a Type-C 5V/1A power supply.
What size food does it take?
It's designed for dry kibble between 4mm and 12mm. It isn't suitable for wet, raw or freeze-dried food.
Why is my kibble getting stuck?
Check the kibble is within the 4–12mm range and completely dry, and avoid overfilling the hopper. Very oily or irregularly shaped kibble can be more likely to jam. Clean the hopper regularly to remove crumbs.
Is it suitable for dogs?
It's designed for cats and small to medium dogs. With a 2.5L hopper, large dogs with big meals are better suited to using it for scheduled snacks.
Can two pets share one feeder?
It can serve multiple pets on the same diet, but it can't tell pets apart. If one pet steals the other's food, use a separate feeder for each.
Why a stainless steel food tray?
The 304 food-grade stainless steel tray is easy to keep clean and doesn't scratch like plastic, which can harbour bacteria linked to feline chin acne.
How do I clean it?
The stainless steel tray and food container are washable. The control panel and base are wipe-clean only, so never submerge them in water.
